Jaya Klara Brekke is a cryptographic geographer who works on technology and meaning in theory and practice. She is based between Margate and Berlin where she is a fellow at the Weizenbaum institute. She is also the CSO at Nym, a decentralised crypto privacy system and a occasional advisor to the European Commission on emerging technologies. She has written numerous essays, articles and papers on the politics and political economies of decentralied systems, and was awarded a PhD by Durham University, Geography department for her thesis titled "Disassembling the Trust Machine: Three cuts on the political matter of blockchain". https://keybase.pub/jayapapaya
